Financing questions
- Can a non-resident get a mortgage in Morocco?
- Yes. Several Moroccan banks lend to non-residents and Moroccans abroad (MRE), typically at 30–40% down, in convertible dirham. The simulator above flags which banks accept non-resident files.
- How much rent can I afford?
- A common guide is that rent should not exceed about a third of your net monthly income. Enter your income above to see the comfortable ceiling and jump straight to matching rentals.
- Can I finance a rental deposit?
- We're building deposit and rent financing so tenants don't lock up months of cash upfront. Apply on this page and we'll come back the moment it's live.
- Does applying cost anything or commit me?
- No. Applying is free and commits you to nothing. We pass your file to our banking partner for an indicative decision — the bank sets the real rate, term and eligibility after review.
Estimates only, not a credit offer — indicative 2026 rate bands, excluding insurance and fees. Actual terms depend on the bank's assessment of your file. USD figures convert at an indicative 1 USD ≈ 9 MAD display peg; the notarial transfer always uses the day-of-sale Bank Al-Maghrib rate, never ours.
